sales & marketing for Peabody Trust's Nile St development

Nile St development

Peabody Trust have just completed their latest mixed tenure development, Nile St in EC1. Evolve were asked to produce a sales office that would allow them to sell apartments off plan. We assisted in choosing an unused shop front on City Road, developed a design, carried out the building works and implemented on going marketing initiatives.

We fitted out the interior to the same specification as the apartments, building in display pods that housed the kitchen and bathroom from the architect's drawings. We built a reception desk that reflected the architectural style of the development and converted the main window facing City Road into a giant illuminated light box. (In effect a free and highly visible advertising hoarding).

In addition we used the main sales area as a gallery and built a secondary gallery in an adjacent room. The gallery was run and curated by a local gallery and the work displayed was by critically acclaimed architectural photographer Etienne Clement. Etienne was commissioned to take photographs of Nile St to be hung as part of the show. We then used the gallery's extensive mailing list of local art buyers and the agent's list to send invitations for a private view where Etienne gave a talk on his work.

The project has been deemed a success, has raised the profile of the development and engaged the local community.
